Moheda Group has promoted the manual "How to inform about alcoholism and its treatment" created by the association against alcoholism in society inRecovery and the Press Association of Madrid.

The guide was written in collaboration with José Antonio García del Castillo, director of the Institute for Drug Dependence Research; Dr. Gabriel Rubio, head of the Psychiatry Service of the Hospital 12 Octubre; Elena Marquínez, presenter of "Estamos como queremos" on RNE; Mireia Pascual, press officer of Socidrogalcohol and Manuel León, head of communications at inRecovery, and has been supported by Agencia EFE, Servimedia, FAPE, and media such as Psiquiatría.com and La Vanguardia.

Aware of the need for the media to be sensitized to the problem of alcoholism, this manual was created with the intention of providing journalists and the media with tools to talk about addiction.  

It is important to be aware that alcohol is responsible for 5% of deaths in our country, in addition to increasing serious problems such as gender violence or dropping out of school at a very early age. For this reason, this manual tries to give an x-ray of the situation of alcoholism and other addictions in Spain, focusing on the problem among the youngest.
