Moheda Group was born in 2008 in a 500-meter plant in Ciempozuelos, Madrid. There we installed our first machine, a garbage bag cutter.
Looking ahead has always been in our DNA. From the beginning, we believed in what no one else believed in: manufacturing 100% recycled bags with up to 60% less plastic, compostable and/or water-soluble. We linked the R&D&I department to the quality and marketing team to develop products with the most prestigious sustainability certifications. Today we have +28,000 meters distributed in a recycling center, main factory, two logistics centers in Madrid and Seville; 15 extrusion lines and high production of sustainable bags and aluminum & food film. We are pioneers and leaders in compostable bags; we have a line of urban and children's furniture; safety stock of more than 1,250 pallets; we maintain 250 direct and indirect jobs and we are present in 7 countries: Spain, Portugal, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, Germany and Italy.
Since 2008, our products do not stop evolving, adapting to the needs of our customers and sectors: street cleaning, hospitality, cosmetics, hospitality, health, consumer goods and agriculture among others.

We have always believed that it is possible to do things better, just by changing our mentality and the way we work. Therefore, every day we challenge ourselves to improve in energy and resource saving, promoting production techniques that are a balance between economic growth, environmental care and social welfare.
For example, our new generation of recycled/biocompostable and water-soluble bags, CASSIARI 100% SUSTAINABLE®, manufactured with up to 60% less plastic, drastically reduces the consumption of raw materials, optimizes distribution (since they take up less space, more rolls per box/pallet/truck) and facilitates recycling at treatment plants. This translates into a more efficient recycling with a lower
use of energy.
Our bags have been or will be: bags for waste, supermarket bags, agricultural plastics, pipes or packaging.
The commitment to sustainability has led us to develop projects to improve the welfare of citizens and the sustainability of cities, creating and promoting environmental and citizen awareness campaigns.
