Moheda Group Wins CEPYME Award in Circular Economy: An Unforgettable Experience
I am still assimilating what we experienced at the CEPYME 2024 Awards gala. From the moment we arrived at the Banco Santander Auditorium, the excitement was palpable. I knew that being among the finalists was already a huge achievement, but the uncertainty and nerves were there. I looked around me and saw so many talented companies, all with inspiring stories and projects that add value to the business fabric of our country. My heart was pounding.
The decisive moment
When the Circular Economy category arrived, I felt like time stood still. The presenter announced the finalists and, in those seconds before hearing the name of the winner, everything went through my head: the beginnings of Moheda Group, the tireless work of the team, the difficulties overcome, and the dream of transforming the sector with sustainable solutions.
And then they said it: Moheda Group, winner of the CEPYME Circular Economy Award.
The energy rush was immediate. I stood up, looked to my side and there was my brother Francisco, with whom I founded Moheda Group. At that moment, I remembered all the hours of effort, the challenges we overcame together and the passion with which we started this journey. We looked at each other and without saying anything, we knew what that moment meant for both of us: the dream that started as a family project was now being recognized at a national level. and I walked to the stage with emotion in my heart. I received the award from the President of the Government, Mr. Pedro Sánchez, the President of CEPYME, Mr. Gerardo Cuerva, and the Director of External Relations of Ecoembes, Ms. Begoña de Benito. It was a moment I will always remember.
A recognition of teamwork
