Responsible production and waste reduction

Companies are clear about one thing: their role is fundamental to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. These objectives aim to promote a series of environmental goals that would slow down climate change.

At Moheda Group we are consciously committed to sustainability. We are aware of the objectives that, since 2015, many countries, including Spain, comply with to a greater or lesser extent. The change is not only in the individuals, but in the community they form.

Responsible production

Global consumption and production depend on continuing to consume the natural environment as it is depleted. There are many aspects of consumption that, with simple changes, can have a great impact on society as a whole.

Our optimized manufacturing process with the most innovative technology and mostly recycled materials ensures that our customers make a more responsible conscious consumption. The use of recycled materials is the key to ensure a responsible and environmentally friendly production.

Thanks to technology, progress is being made in the implementation of more sustainable production processes. These processes are based on reuse, less use of raw materials, a commitment to local products and the creation of new materials that are more respectful and require fewer precious resources such as water. Many of these new materials are obtained thanks to the recycling and reuse of existing ones. Plastic can have many new lives. This is in the interests of companies, but also of society as a whole, both now and in the future.

For example, our customers in the street and urban cleaning sector reduce their plastic consumption by more than 60% thanks to the reusable bags we provide them with.

In turn, considering that each year about one-third of all food produced - the equivalent of 1.3 billion tons -ends up rotting in consumer and retailer garbage cans or spoiling, waste reduction benefits enormously.
