In this interview, Jesús Daza told the origin and path of Mohedagroup, together with his brother, which began fifteen years ago. Faced with the large amount of existing plastics, a major problem that affects the natural environment, they decided to give them an infinite use from a continuous recycling, thus carrying out a true circular economy. Jesús Daza argued how landfills are an unlimited source of resources and not only for plastic, but also cardboard, metals, etc., and how they should be used without the need to use other raw materials from nature.
This reflection also led to the comment in the program that Moheda's objective, from the beginning, was very clear: to reduce the environmental impact of its activity to a minimum.
Jesús Daza also commented in the program on his two lines of action: the recycled product area and the compostable product area, with special emphasis on the fact that the latter is the material of the future, although at Moheda it is already a reality. He also commented on how they are developing water-soluble bags, a novel product that disappears in water and is non-toxic.
