The church of San Antón in Madrid has installed a large solidarity basket in the temple, in order to collect essential products to distribute at Christmas, among the needy.
This initiative, which is part of the NGO Mensajeros de la Paz, has been welcomed by Mohedagroup donating 2000 kilos of food that the company has acquired from a local catering business and also providing drugstore products.
Mohedagroup is a company sensitive to solidarity causes. Since 2009 they collaborate with the Occupational Workshops of San Juan de Dios and are active collaborators with Mensajeros de la Paz.
In the words of Jesús Daza, Operations Director of Mohedagroup: "We, who started from nothing, know very well what it is like to go through situations like this and we want to contribute our grain of sand to help all these people who are now having a hard time".
